GLENCOE, IL, April 19, 2017 -- North Shore Exchange has been named a finalist for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce's 6th annual James Tyree award, given annually to an up-and-coming Chicago entrepreneur with philanthropic values. "We're honored to be recognized among so many exciting, like-minded Chicago companies," says Wendy Serrino, President, North Shore Exchange. "North Shore Exchange is a unique, nonprofit organization dedicated to offering the best in upscale and luxury designer finds to our customers, and turning profits from those sales into meaningful change in the lives of Chicago-area children and families served by the charities we support."

North Shore Exchange presented along with 11 other semi-finalists during a live pitch event on Thursday, April 12, at Mesirow Financial.

Next, a panel of judges will meet to independently review and score the finalists’ original applications to narrow the field to three. The recipient of the award will be announced at the Chamber’s 113th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 6, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
