GLENCOE, IL -- North Shore Exchange was just named Make It Better magazine's Best Consignment Shop of 2017. This marks the third year in the row this mission-based, upscale and luxury resale nonprofit has received this honor, thanks to the nominations and votes from its customers.

"We truly appreciate the honor, and we're thrilled to have the opportunity to spread awareness about our mission. By offering the best in upscale and luxury designer resale for women and the home to our customers, we are able to to provide funding for Chicagoland organizations that offer human services to children and families serving the poor."
North Shore Exchange, founded in 2013, has donated $700,000 to date to area charities serving children and families in need along with local social service agency Family Service of Glencoe.
North Shore Exchange was also recently awarded the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce's $50,000 James Tyree Award for Emerging Business, given annually to a small business which has demonstrated growth, job creation and philanthropic values.
